Those prices must be very enticing for devs. Hopefully we get competition in the space and devs can get a larger % of their game sales. Also these platforms are pissing me off when they say the games cross platform but they just mean steam and epic. Thats not cross platform you oafs!

I trust them to do what they want. I hope they don't do a hades 3, at least anytime soon, but 2 flowed from 1 the same as 1 flowed from pyre. Bastion and Transistor are amazing, but I'm not even convinced either warrants a sequel. I would love more games like them though. In general I wish more indie devs started with something like those games

A lot of the negative reviews are about the game not being like RI1 (although there are other complaints too). RI1 was pretty simply if you have have experience with tycoon/logistics games.

The Scottish Hebrides have changed hands between Celtic, Norse, and later Scots ownership multiple times. The area has a smorgasbord of cultural influences. Skellige is similar, it's Celtic with a huge slathering of Nordic, but still ultimately Celtic at the end of the day.

Yeah, I really hope I can convince my friends to buy it and play together. Since the areas are kind of open and you are free to split up an make your own way I think this is the way to play in multiplayer. If everyone keep together all the time I think it will feel a bit slow since you probably have to pick your own materials for upgrades etc, not shared. All depends on how they do enemies too. If they do scaling it will kind of suck to split up.

Yeah, but my point is that it's apparent from scene 1 when "Simon" wakes up the first time. Just cause he doesn't get it doesn't mean the player doesn't have to deal with the same concept getting rehashed over and over. There was no build up of the concept or iteration on the idea. It's just the same arc from the first 10-15 minutes of the gameplay playing out again and again. Except they swap it up at the end to try to make it hit harder, but to me it just felt played out. I get why people like it, but it just didn't have the pay off for me.
