This reminds me of HOL (Human Occupied Landfill), which I've read about but haven't played.
Anyway, it has stats like Meat, Feet, and Mouth, and skills like "That Psycho Bruce Lee Shit", "Pilot Starship and Chew Gum at the Same Time", "Whining Until You Get What You Want", and "Turn Radios Into Howitzers".

Sounds like something on a spectrum between Call of Cthulu 1981 and West of Loathing.

Came to say this same thing, Call of Cthulhu 1981 is a blast, the most fun I’ve had with a TTRPG.

This sounds like a modified Kids on Bikes system as seen in a few seasons of Dimension 20.

Yeah, it started with Kingdom of Loathing, which is a free to play browser game, and more recently Shadows over Loathing, which has this cool 1920s Lovecraftian setting. All keep that great humor
Thank you!
My ex gf and I used to play a ton of Kingdom.
I knew about "West of Loathing", but this is the first time hearing about "Shadows Over Loathing". -

The computer is your friend!
Your presence on an illegal, sedicious, and - worst of all - unsanctioned messaging server has been noted, citizen; have a treason star. In addition, it has been noted that you failed to file form TA-616/17B (Official Notice of Intent to Engage in Sedicious Activity) with your local IntSec office before engaging in the aforementioned activity - you are fined 50 XP Points.

Lol, that is pretty ironic coming from a known commy traitor who's activities as part of a forbidden secret society are well documented.

Pure je ne sais quoi build.
I always have that certain something needed for the job.
I don't know what that is.

"Je ne sai quoi" = "a certain something"

Shush, Gob.
wrote last edited by [email protected]Funny, because 'gob' is a slang term for sailor.
The term "gob" is colloquial, originating from the slang used within the navy to refer to sailors. Its use is informal and can carry a tone of familiarity or affection among members of the naval community. On the other hand, "sailor" is the more formal and universally recognized term for anyone who works or serves on a ship, regardless of their specific duties or the type of vessel. "Sailor" encompasses a broad category of maritime professionals and enthusiasts, including those in both military and civilian spheres.

Uh, link??!? Or is it only on paper?
wrote last edited by [email protected]The system itself is done but the setting-specific stuff is still in the works. It's designed to be modular, so there are different systems for different settings. The sort of cyberpunky shadowrunny system is close to ready to release a doc aside from like needing more feat-like upgrades and equipment lists. There's also a kind of Eldritch apocalyptic setting that overlaps with most of the same modules and is nearly ready.
I've been putting it on hold lately and focusing on a game I'm making in Godot because I sort of ran out of steam for playtesting it. It is a huge pain in the ass to be both designing a system and planning a weekly campaign to test the system with at the same time.
I'll probably swap back to working on it for a while once the game is done, because I plan on using the system in my next game.

You’re right and you caught the reference, I don’t know why you were downvoted.
