Or, you know, they value human life enough to actually get emotional instead of being clinical as hell.
I'm sorry but if I work somewhere and find out that a coworker nearly killed me after being politely told not to a half dozen times, I'm going to be furious. I'm going to become murderous if I then find out management were super polite and wore kid gloves about the dude nearly killing other people after they've been told a half dozen times that they're nearly killing people.
I agree that yelling shouldn't be the first thing but there is 100% a point in which case you deserve to be yelled at if you're ENDANGERING LIVES.
Valuing manners over teaching someone a lesson so someone else doesn't get killed is never an argument you will successfully make with me. Just a reason for me to not trust you to do what needs to be done if all hell were to go loose.
