I've never actually seen any of the Avatar shows. I have seen the M. Night. Shyamalan movie though. That was pretty good
Then there's nowhere to go but up!
-
then you are in for a treat when you check out the original series
Honestly, I haven't seen the movie either. I just like saying that to Avatar fans because it can often it a pretty hysterical meltdown. Same thing with saying to Trek fans that Wrath of Khan is a bad movie. I do a lil trolling from time to time.
That being said, I have no interest in the Avatar series. The setting and story aren't of any real interest to me. I'm glad that people have something that they love but I am just never gonna be one of those people
Edit: I've never seen a fandom, in my life, that is more emotionally fragile than Avatar fans. Even Star Wars fans don't come slightly close, and they've been screaming about anything non-George for years.

aww, well if you're feeling adventurous one day and want to go exploring media you otherwise wouldn't - i hope AtLA is the first on your list. the characters are really well written and it's truly a great story. Do have a bit of patience with it though, the first few episodes were testing the waters, haha, and there's many more single episode stories there with mostly just goofing around than in other seasons, a proper overaching storyline begins when the deadline is set

God I fucking hated every single episode of that series. I kept hoping it would somehow redeem itself, but it just got worse, and worse with every single scene.

Trolling is pretty cringe. I can't believe people are still doing it...

Yeah, the Trolls movie is already 9 years old at this point. Pretty cringe to still keep it up.

There is literally no part of Avatar that I find even remotely personally interesting. Nothing. I'm not saying it's bad or that it isn't interesting in general, there is just absolutely nothing within that show that is appealing to me.
can't say that unless you've seen it

There's plenty to criticize of George's Star Wars too. The Holiday Special, the Special Edition tampering, the Prequels...

Well, I've seen a trailer and been subjected to clip after clip after clip after clip for years by my friends who refuse to respect my basic position (much like you just did) that I'm just not interested.
I dunno what it is about Avatar fans where they simply cannot accept that someone isn't interested in their show. No one else does this.

oh no i respect your position of not wanting to watch it, i recommended it to you but i won't somehow force you to see it.
i just don't acknowledge your opinion of how you think you'd like no aspect of it, because well, you can't know that without yk, having seen it

This made me day. Thank you.
Also, you should give it a try, it's great fun.

Nitty gritties the position of not wanting to watch itYeah I stand by the previous comment.
wrote on last edited by [email protected]man, you haven't seen the show, it's not a small detail it's a pretty major thing
i ain't believing someone who says "i don't like broccoli" when they've never tried eating broccoli

Lol what's up with your edit? I see one person who suggested you give it a chance. Have I blocked a whole onslaught of fragile avatar fans without knowing? Or is your edit just because you got downvoted for trolling?
