I hope they give the series a proper sendoff and it doesn't go on forever with a "the Kado in mind says this is trash" shtick beyond this final script. There isn't really any point in introducing another rival/deuteragonist, as the whole plot is built around Daisuke chasing Kado.

I guess the mangaka drew themselves into a corner by solving every conflict in a few chapters, going "Haha, actually everyone is a good guy", and not really building on the larger political conflict back on Earth.
