Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- • Ore dake Level Up na Ken: Season 2 - Arise from the Shadow - Episode 9 discussionNot a bad episode. I'm surprised they slowed this one down to show emotions since they've been speed running the content.
Minor differences from the novel and manwha with his reactions, emotions and thoughts. Leaves a different vibe. Him feeling something missing is new. Not sure what they're trying to build up towards.
Ended in a good spot to kick off the next episode strong.

Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- • Ore dake Level Up na Ken: Season 2 - Arise from the Shadow - Episode 8 discussionI'm surprised he finished the demon tower in half an episode but that tracks for the faster pace.
Lots of stuff to get through. They did esil justice in the adaptation with proper references to the "Chance!", "borrow her", "I want to see what you accomplish" and finally the boss interruption. Lots of "fat" is cut out of the demon tower arc but you don't lose anything from the main plot.
Next episode is going to be interesting. I wonder how much they're going to cram in.
