Hand forged metal stick bought by my grannie at an auction way back. Not sure what the story behind it was, but it's supposedly an Aln long, aka an Ell, which might be where the word "elbow" comes from? An Aln corresponds to a cubit, but this one is rather too short and not graded into four fingers per palm but three thumbs, making it 6*3*2.5 cm, or 45cm—which is shorter than most cubits but matching the Old Testament Cubit. I can't see a clear mark so maybe it was a mass produced utility thing.
