Today's game is some more of the Oblivion Remaster. I finished up the Mage's Guild Questline today. Despite that, ironically, everyone keeps referring to me as the Newest Hire. I think they missed the memo that i'm the new Archmage lol.

I met Traven for the first time. That one time i snuck into his bedroom for the Thieve's guild quest while he was sleeping doesn't count because i only got a look at his feet. I did steal a pair of pants from him though while i was in there. I couldn't find my favorite pair of jeans so i decided to inconvenience him too that day.

This guy, who's supposed to die from a pillar slamming up to kill him just didn't die. No clue why but i ended up having to rummage around without a quest marker to find the zombie.

When i went to kill Mannimarco i also got revenge for the first dungeon in Daggerfall and that damn bear shoved in the closet for some reason. My war on Bear-Kind is officially over (for now at least). I ended up killing poor Mannimarco with a charged attack before he could talk to me. I didn't think the game would let me but i got a really lucky sneak attack in. Surprisingly this guy went down in one strike. For how big of a threat he is he sure is a pushover.

Finally, i went to the Archmage's quarters and removed the Ring of Burden i've been carrying this entire time. I figured it was time to let it go and put it in a chest. I also discovered that the previous Archmage (who had a unsettling face btw) had an extensive alcohol collection. Which granted, if i had to deal with all the stuff these guys do i'd probably be an alcoholic too
