Yep, I actually own 7,255 games on Steam. I’ve played 23% of my library. I regret nothing.

How do you even find something to play? That’s enough options that I’d get lost in the search, leave, come back later, and repeat.
I don’t watch TV. I bring a Steam Deck everywhere. And if I get bored, I stop—play something else.
-
Why do I play all these games? Because it’s important that they’re played.
Because every game is a story, a world, a moment in time crafted by someone who cared enough to create it.
Because each one teaches me something new—about design, about culture, about myself.
Because in a sea of pixels, there’s magic waiting to be found.
And because, honestly? Sometimes I just want to escape, explore, and lose myself in different worlds.
So yeah. I own thousands of games, and I’ll keep playing them.
steam should have a "start random game" button. maybe with some rules you can set like "not one played in the last 3 weeks" or something

They have a pretty good recommendation system for your owned library.
But I also have my own system for what to play next.

Nope, it’s Chrome—which I never use.

I have 102 games on GOG

What's your system?
I either play games that I’ve owned for 30 days or 10 years.

Oh, I looked. The “value” isn’t accurate. I bought most in bundle deals or at deep discounts.

I know it's not accurate. I wonder what the "value " is if you were to buy at full price

In your steam profile you can get the actual amount spent if you're curious (and willing to share)

Won’t work because I haven’t bought everything directly through Steam itself.
