wrote on 2 Jun 2025, 12:38 last edited byFrom the press releases at the time, it appears the new owners only have the studio and the Hi-Fi Rush IP, not their other IPs like Ghostwire or Evil Within. If they had to be choosy, Hi-Fi Rush was the one worth getting.

but I, personally, liked all the extra stuff to do, cause it let me take breaks from the story lines and fuck around whenever I wanted. Not saying you are wrong, or that I am right.. Just a different preference. We can be, and both are, right for our perspectives of the game and how we wanted to play it.

When I say smaller scale, I think a game like Expedition 33 nailed the balance of having plenty of side/extra content that's fun to do while also ensuring that completionists don't go mad from trying to hunt down everything.
Regardless, I agree with you on everything you said; it all boils down to preferences
