Anama read Kenichi correctly. He uprooted himself from the town without telling anyone. While perfectly reasonable (he wanted to avoid being traced by nobles), it was quite a cold thing to do.

MC probably turns out to be sexually attracted to rocks, but only if they're younger than 1bn years old. Joking aside, they made the currently running Flower and Asura and from the 2 or 3 episodes I've seen it didn't look like it would be something controversial.

I have some PTSD from Rising of Shield Hero but hopefully this show handles that better

For ones that are playing now, I'm enjoying Magic Maker. The idea that magic hasn't been invented yet and needs to have tons of research done makes it kind of fresh. The whole "half the population can't see it" thing is annoying though.

I'm enjoying Magic Maker. For some reason I've not really heard anything at all or negative things about it. I think the idea that magic hasn't been invented yet and the main character is a researcher who has to create it from scratch makes this a little more fresh in the isekai genre.

It's understandable, especially with how slow the first few episodes are. If I'm remembering right the first few episodes are mainly variations on "Watch Renton be a cringe teenager".

This is an example of how conservatism and creative arts don't mix. Everybody loves the arts, but conservatives don't respect the freedom that the artists and entertainers need to create. To them it's just "shut up and stay in your lane" even when it's the conservatives expanding their range of their repression. Sentai Filmworks needs to move out of Texas, and stay clear of any other red states for that matter.

I hope next week we get a 30min episode (or the actual dream, another 1,5h one like the first one) because there is still so much stuff to go through and only one episode left in the season. I feel like it's pretty much unavoidable they end it on a cliffhanger, but hopefully at least some of the plot points get resolved and we won't be left waiting for 3+ years for answers.
